Tesla is a great company, but unfortunately hires incompetent sales people. I was contacted by Tesla inside sales person who scheduled an overnight test drive for me. The appointment was confirmed by email and two phone calls from Tesla. A day prior, I get a call from Rebecca and she confirms the appointment again, talks about financing etc. Five minutes later I get a call from her telling me that they have some sort of an event next day and do not have a car for me and there is nothing she can do. I called the main line and a gentleman told me they do not have enough plates to do any overnight test drives. Very disorganized and zero desire to take responsibility for the screw up. I was about to spend $125k on a car and was totally snubbed. In contrast the sales team and service department at BMW has always been excellent. Musk and the engineering team are sending rockets into space and you can't organize a test drive?Such sales people are a liability to an otherwise great company and should be ashamed of themselves. Is the service department as much of a mess?

Thanks to William Owens, I'm fully considering Tesla as my next car. Pulling in with my Chevy Cruze, I was treated no differently than any other customer. Very informational and even hands on demonstrations of the S and X. Very knowledgeable and personable. Thank you Mr. Owens.
Best car dealership ever! Though i made it clear that I'm only here to look at the car and not interested in buying, the guys (especially Samuel) went out of their way to explain all the features and even gave a demo of self parking feature!
You're not going to find a better group of people than the folks here at Tesla. Whether you're browsing, shopping, or if you have a car and need service. These are some fantastic folks who will bend over backwards to make sure you are happy.
